Wilhelm String Quartet

WILHELM STRING QUARTET (Concert & Workshop) - 14 August 2010.

Mitchell Conservatorium is hosting a string workshop with the up and coming Wilhelm String Quartet. The workshop will take place at 12pm on 14th August in the Orchard Room and other studios of the Conservatorium. All string students and enthusiasts are encouraged to enrol either as group members, individuals or observers.

The Quartet will also be performing a concert at All Saints Cathedral at 7.30pm that evening and workshop participants will be entitled to free concert entry.

The Wilhelm Quartet was formed at the Royal Academy of Music in London in 2006 under the guidance of the late Howard Davies. In early 2009 the group won the Academy's Wolfe Wolfinsohn String Quartet Prize, after which they were invited to participate at the National Young String Quartet Weekend, an intensive course in Manchester held by the London String Quartet Foundation.
